A career with Kerry offers you an opportunity to shape the future of food while providing you opportunities to explore and grow in a truly global environment.About the roleAre you passionate about food innovation and excited by the idea of creating products for some of the world's biggest foodservice brands?We're looking for a creative and technically strong RD&A Technologist to join our Foodservice Dairy & Dairy Alternatives team at our Global Technology & Innovation Centre in Naas.This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative, high‑energy environment where your ideas and expertise will help shape the future of dairy, appetisers, and dairy‑alternative solutions for leading global restaurant chains.Key responsibilitiesLead end‑to‑end development of dairy, appetizer, and dairy‑alternative products for global and regional foodservice customers.Translate customer briefs into innovative, commercially viable products.Co‑create applications with chefs and application specialists to ensure products perform beautifully in real-world restaurant environments.Collaborate with commercial, applications, NPI, operations, and commercialisation teams to deliver solutions that meet customer expectations and project timelines.Support factory trials, scale‑up activities, first productions, and ensure products are ready for successful launch.Participate in customer innovation days, technical presentations, and showcase sessions.Ensure all developments meet food safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including shelf‑life validation and documentation.Maintain excellent laboratory practice, accurate documentation, and adherence to internal protocols.Take part in sensory panels and structured product evaluations.Use customer and market insights to drive proactive innovation and renovation.Manage projects from ideation to launch, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.Prepare and dispatch samples with complete supporting technical information.Qualifications and skillsBSc in Food Science / Technology or other such related fieldProduct development or application experience with a proven track record in New Product Development.Strong technical acumen and understanding of Food ManufacturingTeamwork is essential. The role requires excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to share learnings, manage timelines & report results and learningsAbility to work cross-functionally and with other departments within KerryYou should be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise your work and manage a variety of projects/briefsYou should have a passion for food and the ability to confidently present products and information to customers and internal stakeholdersYou should possess excellent organisational and PC skills and knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel)
