Head of Cyber Operations & DeliveryLocation: Dublin / Leeds. Contract type: Permanent.Role PurposeThe Head of Cyber Operations and Delivery will lead a team responsible for portfolio management and business operations for the Global Cyber team. This team will ensure the successful delivery of Flutter's global cybersecurity priorities across the Brands and Divisions. The successful candidate will connect cyber strategy to execution and collaborate with senior global stakeholders to resolve complex and strategic challenges. The role reports to the Director of Cyber Transformation and Operations.Accountabilities & ResponsibilitiesLead a team of 3-4 individual contributors consisting of cyber security/technology project management and business operations professionals.Hire and support the development of team members across multiple Flutter offices and time zones.Manage and deliver transformational cyber programs across the global Brands.Balance resourcing, business direction and risk posture to enable the team to deliver against leadership and Board expectations.Collaborate with the Tech Strategy team to ensure Flutter's Global Cyber Strategy is relevant, implementable and updated as needed.Lead conversations with senior stakeholders up to CISO level across Brands and Divisions focused on strategic and value‑added outcomes.Provide data analysis and process optimisation support to global programs.Identify and creatively resolve issues impeding progress against the global delivery of cyber priorities.Ensure the Global Cyber Team operates efficiently and effectively through the management of Objectives and Key Results and the implementation of team collaboration and morale activities.Serve as a key advisor to the Global Cyber Leadership Team.Establish strong working relationships with global stakeholders to facilitate the execution of day‑to‑day responsibilities.Support other special projects as assigned.Skills & CapabilitiesDemonstrated cyber security expertise and ability to operate quickly and effectively in a cyber security environment.Knowledge of the NIST Cyber Security Framework or other similar industry frameworks or standards.Experience effectively leading a skilled team across multiple locations.Comfortable working with a diverse group of senior stakeholders and adapting communication styles.Ability to translate vague or complex ideas into actionable implementation strategies.Excellent time‑management and planning skills to minimise last‑minute data calls or taskings.Comfortable soliciting feedback and evolving processes accordingly.Excellent at asking questions and highlighting misalignment or concerns.Experience adapting to a changing environment.Excellent communication skills when engaging multiple technology and business functions, translating technical issues into clear language.Leadership experience, motivating and instilling confidence within a team.Proficiency in identifying and addressing impediments promptly and effectively.Knowledge of Confluence and/or Jira is a plus.Qualifications & ExperienceSignificant commercial experience in business operations or project management.Experience working in strategy or programme management within a cybersecurity team.Demonstrable experience working with multidisciplinary delivery teams across global locations and time zones.BenefitsBonus schemeUncapped holiday allowanceEnhanced pension schemePrivate healthcareLife assuranceIncome protectionHybrid working£/€1,000 annual self‑development learning fundSharesave Scheme via FluttersPaid volunteering daysEnhanced parental leaveWellbeing fund (£/€250 a year)Recognition programsGym membership, discounts, vouchers and much moreEqual opportunitiesAt Flutter, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
