We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised Facilities Service Desk Administrator to join our head office team.
This role plays a key part in supporting the day-to-day delivery of facilities management services, acting as the main point of contact between customers, technicians, and internal teams.
You will be responsible for managing service requests through a ticketing system, providing regular updates to customers, coordinating technician attendance, and ensuring jobs are progressed efficiently from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities -
* Update, and monitor ticketing systems.
* Log reactive and planned maintenance jobs accurately,
* Provide regular updates to customers on job progress and completion,
* Issue daily job status updates and reports.
* Schedule works and update job timelines as required.
* Arrange site access for engineers.
* Communicate clearly with technicians regarding job details, arrival times, and updates.
* Liaise with customers to confirm appointments and technician attendance.
* Answer incoming calls and emails professionally and efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records across systems and spreadsheets.
* Support the wider facilities and operations team as required
Skills & Experience =
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Professional and confident phone and email manner
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Experience using ticketing systems or CAFM systems is desirable
* Previous experience in facilities management or a similar service desk role is required.
