Using Docusign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).What you'll doAs a Security Tools Engineer on the Platform Security engineering team, you will drive the strategy and execution to advance our security posture by designing, building, and optimizing enterprise-scale tools and platforms that support our security and ITSM processes. This technical position is responsible for engineering robust solutions that enable effective monitoring, assurance, and response across the organization. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts to lead the delivery of scalable and impactful security platforms..Reporting and IC/PMThis position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Platform SecurityResponsibilityArchitect, implement, and lead the optimization of enterprise endpoint security tools (e.g., EDR, antivirus, device control)Design and execute complex, robust integrations between security tools and other IT or security platforms to enhance detection and response capabilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to security tool deployment, configuration, and ongoing performanceCollaborate with IT, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of security toolsMonitor tool health, coverage, and effectiveness; generate and analyze reports to identify gaps or areas for improvementAutomate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting or orchestration tools to improve efficiency and consistencyLead the evaluation, testing, and integration of new security tools and technologies as business needs evolveDevelop and maintain documentation for tool configurations, integrations, and standard operating proceduresServe as a subject matter expert (SME) for endpoint security tools, providing technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholdersDrive the development and execution of a long-term security tooling strategy, including tool selection, lifecycle management, and process improvementsJob DesignationHybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.What you bringBasicBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of experience in security engineering, IT security operations, or a closely related technical disciplineExperience in one or more security domains, such as vulnerability management, configuration compliance, attack surface monitoring, SIEM/SOAR, or ITSM integrationsExperience in coding for tool integration and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Java, or similar), including experience with APIs, scripting, and workflow automationExperience with security assurance, risk management concepts, and industry best practicesExperience working within ITSM ecosystems (such as ServiceNow or equivalent) and a solid grasp of ITSM principlesPreferredExperience deploying and managing enterprise endpoint security solutions at scaleHands-on experience integrating security tools with SIEM, SOAR, or ITSM platformsFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for security automationAdvanced troubleshooting skills in complex, distributed environmentsDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of working both independently and collaboratively with subject matter expertsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiencesWage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:California: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salaryIllinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salaryWashington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salaryWashington DC: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salaryOhio: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary This role is also eligible for the following:Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals.
