Position
We require a technically excellent Project Engineer with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. You will be a vital part of the team and will support the Director with the continued growth of Ayesa through successful tendering and project delivery.

Key Accountabilities
1. Work as a member of a project team to deliver quality services to clients.
2. Be experienced and confident with report writing and presentation skills.
3. Ensure that design solutions are completed on time and meet the project brief.
4. Monitor processes and results, ensuring compliance with safety, legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
5. Make appropriate judgments and decisions, exercising initiative.
6. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and outside agencies, building effective working relationships and aiming to exceed client expectations.
7. Adhere to all Codes of Practice, Design Standards, and Health and Safety Regulations.
8. Represent and promote Ayesa professionally and develop effective relationships with clients and potential clients.
Requirements
1. Degree or master's in civil engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience.
3. Experience in drinking water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, drainage, and flood risk management, ideally in Ireland and/or UK.
4. Experience with hydraulic modelling software, especially fluvial modelling.
5. Experience in hydrology, hydraulic engineering, river engineering, and flood risk management.
6. Management experience, including quality, financial, and project controls systems.
7. Proven experience in Project Management of Water Infrastructure Projects.
8. Excellent communication skills, including experience in international collaboration, team motivation, leadership, and client relationship development.
9. Ability to deliver technically excellent client solutions.
10. Working towards or holding Chartered status or an equivalent qualification.
