Role:
The successful Field Service Engineer will be based in the Leinster region, ideally within the Greater Dublin / Kildare area, and will cover a nationwide territory as required.
You will be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, and optimisation of systems in the field, ensuring performance, reliability, and uptime across multiple sites.
Responsibilities include:
Monitoring system performance and identifying anomalies
Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance
Troubleshooting faults and carrying out repairs on-site
Supporting the optimisation and efficiency of operational systems
Maintaining accurate service records, reports, and documentation
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
Supporting day-to-day operations across a portfolio of sites
Working closely with internal teams to resolve technical issues
Person:
This role will suit candidates with electrical, maintenance, or field service experience looking to move into or develop within the renewable energy sector.
Qualification in electrical, mechanical, or engineering discipline preferred
Experience in a field service, maintenance, or technical support role
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
Understanding of electrical systems and ability to read schematics beneficial
Good IT and reporting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
Full, clean driving licence essential
Willingness to travel nationwide and stay overnight when required
Package:
Salary: €45,000 – €57,000
