Financial Controller LOCATION Dublin 24 SALARY excellent depending on skills and experience COMPANY DESCRIPTION Our client is a leading award-winning export focused Engineering company, is looking for a talented and motivated Financial Controller to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Finance team, ensuring that the financial reporting requirements are met including all statutory, regulatory, taxation and internal reporting matters. This position will report directly to the Mananging Director POSITION DESCRIPTION The Financial Controller will be responsible for the functions of the Accounts Department, Accounts payable and Accounts receivable and all other duties and functions of the Accounts Department The Financial ControllersDuties will include: Monthly Management accounts POs/ Invoicing through SAP System Understanding and management of relevant taxes and the tax system, including VAT, Payroll, taxes. Cash management and forecasting Payroll Processing Preparation of statutory and regulatory submissions General Ledger and bank reconciliations Processing invoices according to internal company procedures in a timely manner Ensuring internal control procedures are being adhered to Dealing with queries from external bodies to include customer suppliers. NUMBER OF YEARS PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Skills required/Technical Competencies/Experience A Fully qualified accountant with a minimum of 4 years PQE /ACCA /ACA/CIMA/CPA. Reliable, self-motivated, highly organised and ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines. Strong organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP /other ERP systems. Excellent numeracy and attention to detail.Consistency and accuracy.Excellent interpersonal skills Personal Competencies.
