Job Title: Personal Lines Account Handler
About the Role:
The successful candidate will join a well-established Insurance Brokerage as a Personal Lines Account Holder. This is a full-time, permanent position that involves managing and servicing personal lines insurance accounts, focusing on Motor and Home policies.
Tasks & Duties:
* Manage Renewals: Review, re-broker, and negotiate Home & Motor insurance renewals, including drafting invitations and following up with customers.
* Customer Service: Handle queries, perform mid-term adjustments, and maintain strong customer relationships.
* New Business & Quotations: Set up new insurance quotations, take payments, and issue client documentation.
* Provider Liaison: Negotiate with insurers and maintain productive relationships with providers.
* Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate computer records, prepare reports, and research insurance policies and products.
* Deadline & Workflow Management: Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and on time, supporting team objectives.
Requirements:
* APA qualified at a minimum, with strong understanding of personal lines insurance (Home & Motor).
* Experience working in a customer-facing insurance role, ideally within a personal lines team.
* Familiarity with Applied systems or similar insurance administration platforms is an advantage.
* Knowledge of insurance products, policy wording, and underwriting processes for Home and Motor insurance.
* Understanding of insurance regulations, renewal processes, and customer service standards in the insurance sector.
