Job Description:
The role of a Safety Manager is pivotal in ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of workplace wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or manufacturing HSE and possess strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
* Set the strategic direction for effective HSE management and wellbeing programmes.
* Engage with managers and employees to drive continuous improvement in HSE practices.
* Oversee compliance with HSE regulations and maintain documentation to required standards.
* Ensure robust risk assessment and incident management systems are in place.
* Develop and review risk assessments across factory operations, including chemical handling, manual handling, noise, work at height, and confined spaces.
* Collaborate with HR on health and wellbeing initiatives, including risk assessments for employees.
* Implement and maintain HSE procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
Requirements:
* Experienced HSE professional with a strong track record in construction or manufacturing.
