Our client, a leading provider of industrial solutions, is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead their commercial operations in Ireland and support the strategic expansion of their local presence. This is a senior leadership position that sits on the management team and plays a central role in shaping and executing the commercial direction of the business. The successful candidate will take ownership of customer project delivery, commercial strategy, and stakeholder engagement working cross-functionally across departments including marketing, sales, operations, logistics, and purchasing. A proven ability to manage complex supply agreements and drive profitability through strong commercial governance is essential. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of commercial strategies aligned with the companys growth objectives. Manage all commercial aspects of customer projects to maximize profitability and ensure on-time delivery. Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and internal teams to foster collaboration and business continuity. Support sales initiatives through effective pricing strategies, promotional planning, and customer engagement. Use performance data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic decisions. Oversee daily operations and coordinate across departments to ensure cohesive delivery of services. Lead, mentor, and support team members, including department heads, fostering a high-performance culture. Contribute to the implementation of health and safety standards across the business. Key Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus. 58 years of experience in a senior commercial or operations management role. Demonstrated success in managing commercial agreements and operations in a cross-functional environment. Strong financial and budget management skills, with the ability to make data-informed decisions. Proven leadership experience with a focus on mentoring and team development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. Skilled in commercial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning.
