Now Hiring: Senior Project Manager – Capital Investment Projects (Cork, Ireland | Hybrid/Onsite)
Are you a proven leader in large‑scale pharmaceutical capital projects, ready to drive complex, multi‑site engineering programs on a global stage? EFOR Group, a specialist in Life Sciences consulting and project delivery, is searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major capital investments within regulated manufacturing environments.
What you’ll do:
Oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of medium and large capital investment projects, from business case through concept, design, construction, commissioning, and operational handover
Manage cross‑functional teams and external EPCMV partners, ensuring projects meet the highest safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Develop and maintain robust project execution plans, cost forecasts, schedules, and risk management strategies
Lead contractor selection, contract management, and change control processes with a relentless focus on cost, schedule, and compliance
Drive effective stakeholder communication with concise, decision‑focused reporting for senior leadership, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies
Promote world‑class EHS and lean practices throughout the project lifecycle
Your background:
15+ years’ experience in leadership roles within capital projects for pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated life sciences industry
Experience delivering projects > $25M and a track record in both small and large molecule API manufacturing environments
Specialized knowledge in cGMP, GxP compliance, cleanroom and utilities design, and validation
Leadership of diverse, multi‑disciplinary project teams and complex supply chain environments
Certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) strongly preferred
Skilled communicator, negotiator, and influencer at all levels
