About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join a major civil engineering project in Galway.
This role will play a crucial part in promoting and maintaining the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance across site operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Carry out weekly site safety audits and inspections across the project.
* Provide guidance to site management teams on compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Create effective safety induction programs for new personnel joining the team.
* Investigate incidents, accidents, or near misses occurring within the workplace. Implement corrective measures accordingly.
