Quality Assurance Professional
The role of Quality Manager is crucial in ensuring the highest quality, safety, and compliance standards are met before products reach consumers.
The successful candidate will oversee quality control processes, review product specifications, and set supplier requirements to maintain health and safety guidelines and legal obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement quality control procedures to meet customer and regulatory requirements
* Review product specifications and set supplier requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards
* Lead a team of inspectors, technicians, and quality staff in maintaining high-quality standards
* Oversee product development procedures to identify deviations from established standards
* Inspect and approve final output, rejecting non-compliant products and implementing corrective actions
Maintain accurate documentation, perform statistical analysis, and prepare detailed quality reports for senior management.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quality Manager or similar role
* Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, relevant legal standards, and industry regulations
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science or equivalent relevant experience
* Certification in BRC and DAFM standards desirable
* Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with a strong attention to detail and results-driven approach
* Proficient in MS Office with good data analysis and statistical skills
