Job Title: SOC Manager - Security Operations Centre Location: Dublin, Ireland | Salary: €59,417 | Contract: Fixed-Term until Dec 2027 About the Role: We're looking for an experienced SOC Manager to lead Security Operations Centre services for a key local government client. You'll manage SOC/SIEM providers, implement threat intelligence, monitor performance, and report to governance boards. This role blends hands-on technical oversight with leadership, ensuring critical systems are secure and resilient. Key Responsibilities: Lead SOC/SIEM service delivery and manage provider performance. Monitor KPIs, EPS rates, and incident response effectiveness. Integrate threat intelligence feeds (e.g., MISP) into SOC operations. Develop and maintain SOC monitoring capabilities and governance processes. Report to Programme Boards and manage stakeholder relationships. Oversee policies, procedures, and team performance. Support budgeting, procurement, and operational planning. Skills & Experience: Proven experience managing SOC operations or security services. Knowledge of SIEM, threat intelligence platforms, and security monitoring. Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR). Experience managing KPIs and reporting to senior stakeholders. Excellent organisation, communication, and team leadership skills. Desirable: Experience with public procurement and Dynamic Purchase Schemes (DPS). Technical background in ICT or cybersecurity.
