Our team is the heartbeat of the venue, and we are looking for a hands-on Duty / Floor Manager to help us lead from the front.
The Role
As Duty / Floor Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of service on the floor, delivering an exceptional guest experience, and leading a motivated team. This role is key in maintaining our standards while creating a fun, welcoming, and safe environment for guests and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee day-to-day floor operations during service.
* Supervise and support front-of-house staff, ensuring high standards of customer service.
* Manage staff rotas, breaks, and floor coverage.
* Be the first point of contact for guest queries, feedback, or complaints, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Handle cash-ups, reports, and opening/closing procedures as required.
* Support training and development of staff, leading by example with a hands-on approach.
* Work closely with senior management to hit operational, sales, and service targets.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory/management role in a high-volume hospitality environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve challenges quickly.
* Solid knowledge of health & safety and licensing regulations.
* Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
