About the Role:
* The Staff Nurse will provide a telephone triage service as appropriate within protocols and guidelines.
* They will be the first point of clinical contact for patients, utilizing excellent communication skills to deliver a quality service.
Service Details:
* The service operates Monday to Friday 18:00 - 08:00 and 24 hours on Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holidays.
* Flexibility is key, as part of a telephone triage nurse rota during operational hours.
Key Requirements:
* Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential.
* A commitment to providing a high-quality service is paramount.
* Excellent communication skills, including a sufficient command of the English language, are required.
* Experience working in at least one of the following areas: Accident & Emergency Dept., Paediatrics, Practice Nursing, Midwifery, or Telephone Triaging is desirable.
