Overview
Our client is a multinational organisation with offices in Dublin city. They are hiring a Senior Tax Accountant to join their growing European tax function. This role offers the chance to influence strategic decisions, drive tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Taxes you will have a strong focus on corporate tax, but will also have the opportunity to work across other tax heads including employment tax.
Base pay range
Location: Dublin City
Hybrid : 3 days in office, 2 wfh
Salary - c85-95k plus excellent bonus and package
What will you be doing?
* Serve as a trusted advisor for corporate and people tax matters across the region.
* Support strategic business initiatives such as new market entry and expansion, advising on corporate residency, permanent establishment, and governance.
* Contribute to and advise on transfer pricing, R&D credits, tax audits, and interactions with tax authorities.
* Oversee corporate tax compliance and tax provisioning for multiple European entities and branches (supported by external advisors).
* Monitor international employee mobility and assess implications for corporate tax, payroll, and social security.
* Partner with HR, Global Payroll, and Mobility teams to support employment tax returns, UK PSA, IR35, and expatriate compliance.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the adoption of tax technology.
* Maintain a strong control framework and contribute to overall tax risk management.
* Track evolving tax legislation across Europe and lead the implementation of necessary changes.
* Provide flexible support on a wide range of business initiatives requiring tax input.
Is this you?
* Significant experience in a similar corporate tax role, ideally with international or European exposure.
* Strong advisory skills, capable of explaining complex tax issues to non-specialist stakeholders.
* Accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA) required; tax qualification (e.g. CTA) is a strong advantage.

* Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) required; tax qualification (CTA) is advantageous.
