Scope
Providing a professional freight forwarding service to our customers, delivering solutions and executing customer orders in accordance with their requirements and / or procedures based on PSA BDP Ethics.
Responsibilities
To provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships with clients
Effectively manage Ocean Export LCL and FCL shipments from start to finish
Punctual and flawless order handling and documentation
Follow SOP's and update accordingly
Submitting VGM through CNS & Destin8
Prepare and complete full export documentation and sending prealerts within set KPIs
Submitting AMS / ACI / ISF for relevant shipments
Sending EDI bookings and SI to carriers
FCL and LCL Quotations upon request
Manage multiple shipments simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
Operational troubleshooting
Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI's.
Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance policies
Meeting financial end of month deadlines both accruals and sales invoices
Qualifications / Experience
+3 years of detailed experience of logistics and forwarding operations/regulations and documentation.
To include customs procedures, the handling of dangerous goods and extensive knowledge of both LCL and FCL.
Preferable a professional degree by a licensed educational institution.
