The Role:
SALES ASSISTANT
Being a sales assistant at the Clarke Group, means you will be trained in the following areas of the store; checkout, deli, barista & shop floor.
To role of sales assistant is to serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner providing an exceptional standard of customer care
MAIN DUTIES
* To deliver exceptional Customer Service to all customers at all times
* Preparation of food products for sale in accordance with all company hygiene and food safety procedures
* To complete customer sales at the checkout in a warm and friendly manner
* Ensuring that products are merchandised and presented to the highest standard
* Compliance with all Health & Safety Regulations
* To follow departmental opening and closing procedures
* To be familiar with all price promotions and continuity promotions and be able to explain and promote to our customers.
* Ensuring the store is tidy and well presented at all times
* To deal with customer queries in a professional and pleasant way and refer to the store manager where appropriate
* To work as part of a team and to engage with you colleagues
