Irish Commodities specialises in energy procurement, with a focus on incremental energy hedging to help large energy users in Ireland, the UK, and Western Europe manage risk — drawing on experience managing portfolios for some of Europe’s most recognised brands. We are seeking an Independent Business Development Partner to drive growth in Ireland. With generous recurring commissions paid on multi-year contracts.
What You’ll Be Selling
A high-value, flexible energy procurement (hedging) service tailored to large commercial and industrial energy users.
Led by a 20-year veteran of European energy trading, Irish Commodities offers clients:
* A fully independent trading desk
* Expert gas and electricity hedging strategies
* Proven performance with global brands in pharma, manufacturing, and engineering
You'll engage with large energy users spending €500,000 to €50 million per year, including:
* Pharmaceutical manufacturers
* Engineering and precision manufacturing firms
* Large hotels and hospitality groups
* Industrial and commercial property operators
What You’ll Get
* Earn industry-leading commission on all new business for the full duration of each client contract, plus additional commission on renewals.
* Multi-year contracts provide dependable recurring income and significant earnings growth over time.
* Quarterly commission payments, with a generous upfront payment on client signature to reward fast wins.
* OTE: €60,000–€100,000+ in Year 1, with higher earning potential in Year 2 and beyond as recurring contracts build your portfolio.
* Full flexibility — work independently, remotely, and on your terms.
* Sales and marketing support, plus access to a graphic designer for professional pitch materials.
* Direct backing from our lead trader for added credibility in high-value meetings.
* An established independent sales professional with an existing network among large energy users. Ideally already selling complementary services or products into this market and looking to expand their portfolio with a high-value, recurring commission opportunity.
* Proven B2B sales closer with a strong network among large energy users and the ability to generate your own leads.
* Experience selling complex or consultative solutions (e.g., telecom, software, logistics).
* Skilled at engaging senior decision-makers in large organisations.
* Energy sector experience is a plus but not essential for fast learners.
