is working with a leading multinational business in Cork to identify a qualified Financial Accountant to join their team. A true success story in Cork, this company is a leader in its field and boasts a highly professional team within its accounting function.
As a Financial Accountant, you will manage the accounting functions for various entities. You'll also have the opportunity to work on different projects as part of a large team and they are looking for someone with 1-3 years PQE. This is a broad finance role, involving close collaboration with the cross-functional senior management team to oversee accounting and reporting for all entities.

ABOUT THE ROLE
* Overseeing general accounting activities for multiple entities.
* Managing month-end close processes and related accounting entries.
* Ensuring compliance with both local and international accounting standards.
* Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across different regions.
* Coordinating with auditors and supporting audit processes by providing necessary information.
* Assessing processes and identifying opportunities for improvements.
* Supporting and preparing statutory financial reporting for various entities.
ABOUT THE PERSON
* Qualified accountant with relevant industry experience being a plus.
* Experience in a Shared Service Centre is beneficial but not required.
* Familiarity with international accounting standards is advantageous.
* Strong technical accounting skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various functions and cultures.
* A team player with strong leadership and negotiation abilities.
