Mulligans Pharmacy is a family-run business, established in 1957, that operates in the retail pharmacy sector, and occupies 19 sites across the south east of Ireland. This has been delivered through organic growth and acquisitions.We are currently recruiting for a part-time or full-time pharmacy technician at our Western Road Pharmacy. This role is suitable for anyone with a minimum of 18 months of experience working in dispensaries.Key Responsibilities:Prepare prescriptions and support all general dispensary procedures in line with company and legal requirementsProvide a consistently high standard of customer service and careEnsure stock control policies are followed and maintainedAdvise and assist customers with OTC (over-the-counter) medicines and productsAccurately complete and submit all necessary paperworkSupport the supervising pharmacist and dispensary management in ensuring the dispensary operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with pharmacy regulationsAssist with the day-to-day running of the dispensary, including ordering, labelling, and maintaining accurate patient medication recordsSkills & Experience:Pharmacy Technician qualification is highly desirable, though not essentialStrong customer service skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilityProfessional, well-presented, and committed to maintaining high standardsSelf-motivated with a genuine interest in supporting the growth and success of the pharmacyHighly organised, with the ability to manage tasks efficientlyA strong team player with a positive, proactive attitudeWhy Join Us?At Mulligans Pharmacy, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care to our community.
