Project Leader
We are seeking a skilled Project Leader to oversee complex projects from start to finish.
This role would suit an experienced professional who has managed steel frame commercial/retail projects valued over €10M. You will have full responsibility for ensuring that sound project management practices are implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and monitor construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
* Liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
* Review all documentation and designs, highlighting inconsistencies to reduce changes required during the construction phase.
* Oversee operations on a day-to-day basis.
* Develop construction programmes and schedules to achieve agreed outcomes.
* Ensure that all work complies with health and safety standards in line with company policies.
* Work closely with Site Engineers, Foremen and Director.
* Responsible for the overall delivery of the project.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering and/or Construction Management (level 8 minimum).
* 5+ Years of Project Management Experience with a main contractor, in planning, executing and delivering projects.
* Experience managing multiple subcontractors at a time.
* Proven track record of successfully managing previous medium to large scale commercial/fitout projects.
* Experienced from Civils to Project Handover.
* Solid technical background, with hands-on experience in project delivery.
* Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and MS Project, CAD/BIM with excellent IT skills.
