Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Key Account Manager (KAM) to join Gastroenterology team. This is a permanent role covering the northern region of the Republic of Ireland (excluding Northern Ireland), focusing on an established territory with excellent existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Optimise sales and expand market reach for the company's gastroenterology products across the assigned territory.
* Manage and grow key account relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and relevant decision-makers.
* Deliver results in a cost-effective and efficient manner while aligning with the company’s strategic goals.
* Enhance the reputation of the company among healthcare stakeholders through professional, ethical engagement.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to identify opportunities and respond to customer needs.
Candidate Profile:
* Experience in key account management, sales or similar role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably in gastroenterology or a related therapeutic area.
* Strong understanding of the Irish healthcare system, including HSE structures and reimbursement pathways.
* Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships at multiple levels within healthcare organisations.
* Excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills.
* Self-motivated, with the ability to manage a broad geographical area independently.
* This role covers a well-established territory with a solid foundation of customer relationships.
* Regular travel within the northern counties of the Republic of Ireland will be required.
