Job Description
As a seasoned night manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our hotel's front office department during the night shift. Your primary goal will be to deliver exceptional guest service and ensure that all departments achieve their quality targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* To direct and oversee all hotel operations during the night shift, guaranteeing guest satisfaction and safety.
* To prepare, print, and distribute reports to all departments.
* To conduct daily briefings for the morning shift.
* To manage departmental sales and ensure they are achieved in line with the hotel's budget.
Guest Services: You will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our guests, including occasionally assisting them with their luggage, being a point of contact, valet parking their cars, and ensuring all their requirements are met during their stay.
Leadership and Team Management: As a night manager, you will have the opportunity to develop and lead a high-performing team. Key responsibilities include:
* Appraising team members according to the agreed appraisal procedure.
* Ensuring all team members comply with the employee handbook.
* Chairing monthly departmental meetings and attending General Team Meetings and ECCM when required.
Fire, Health & Safety: To maintain a safe working environment, you will be expected to have a full understanding of fire and emergency procedures, health and safety regulations, and carry out risk assessments in your department.
Requirements: Previous night management experience is highly desirable. Fluency in English is essential. Additionally, you should have knowledge and experience of luxury environments, as well as previous significant guest service experience. Strong communication skills, an analytic mindset, and attention to detail are also crucial for success in this role.
