The Role: Accounting Technician Trainee
We’re looking for a Trainee Accounting Technician to join our team whilst completing the ATI (Accounting Technicians Ireland) qualification. You’ll learn your trade alongside experienced Client Managers, working with real SME clients from day one, using the latest cloud technology.
Roles and Responsibilities
From day one, you’ll be hands‑on with client work, building expertise across:
* Bookkeeping and transaction processing – maintaining accurate financial records using cloud accounting platforms
* VAT returns preparation – ensuring clients meet their compliance obligations
* Management accounts – helping clients understand their financial performance
* Year‑end accounts support – contributing to statutory accounts preparation
* Client liaison – building relationships and becoming a trusted point of contact
* Continuous learning – developing technical skills whilst progressing through your ATI qualification
You’ll work closely with experienced Client Managers who’ll mentor you, challenge you, and help you develop the skills that matter.
What We Are Looking For

* Applicants with a business, accounting or finance background are encouraged to apply

* Strong communication skills – you’ll be client‑facing from early on

* Any prior bookkeeping or accounts experience (but not essential)
* Basic Excel or accounting software knowledge

* Self‑starter who can manage multiple priorities and deliver projects with minimal supervision
* Client‑focused approach with genuine care for helping businesses succeed
