Role: Electrical OR Electrical Instrumentation (E I) Apprentice Location Base: Travel needed within Munster ideal locations Tipperary/Kilkenny/Laois/Offaly.
Salary: Official Apprentice Rates offered and Commerical Vehicle Position Summary As an Electrical Instrumentation Apprentice, you will work alongside a fully qualified Commissioning Engineer who will mentor you throughout your training.
You'll gain hands-on experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and control systems used in water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Key Responsibilities Follow all safety procedures and company policies, including lockout/tagout and confined space requirements.
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and calibration of electrical and instrumentation equipment, including flow meters, pressure transmitters, level sensors, analysers, quality monitoring equipment and control systems.
Support troubleshooting of control panels, PLCs, motor control centres, and SCADA systems under supervision.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks and record results accurately.
Learn to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation loop drawings.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
Requirements: Must have at least 2 - 3 years' experience Good attitude willingness to Learn Flexibility to travel to various sites Full clean driver's license Official Apprentice Rates offered.
