We are seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing environmental programs across the site, ensuring compliance with local and corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement environmental programs, including air emissions, wastewater discharges, soil and groundwater management, surface water management, waste management, and environmental noise control
* Provide technical assistance for environmental programs
* Ensure company adherence to local and corporate environmental standards
* Act as point of contact for environmental compliance
* Foster a positive culture for environmental performance
* Facilitate implementation of various environmental programs across the site
* Assist in implementing conditions set out in sites new IED Licence and Greenhouse Gas Permit
* Support site environmental sampling and monitoring requirements
* Be resource to all areas in helping them understand regulatory requirements of their areas and programs
* Work with them in implementing solutions that comply with regulations and programs
* Participate in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) improvement projects
Requirements
* BSc or MSc in Environmental Science or similar
* 4 years + experience working in the pharmaceutical industry essential
* IED Licence essential
