A well-established Irish law firm is seeking an Associate to join its investment management and funds team. The role involves advising a diverse client base of asset managers and financial services providers on Irish investment fund structures and related regulatory matters. The practice has a strong presence in the funds sector and advises on a wide range of products and strategies.
You would work as part of a specialist funds team on the formation and structuring of Irish investment vehicles, including UCITS, ETFs and private fund structures spanning private equity, venture capital, real assets, infrastructure and credit strategies. The role also includes advising on regulatory authorisations for UCITS management companies and alternative investment fund managers, as well as supporting clients with ongoing regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to their asset management activities. The position offers exposure to complex legal work and regular interaction with clients.
Required Skills and Experience
1-4 years' PQE in investment funds or asset management work
Strong academics and excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
Qualified as a solicitor in Ireland, England & Wales, however this team is open to common law applicants (Canada, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand Qualified lawyers are encouraged to apply)
