Main Purpose of Job:
To serve as our guests' first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation including registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities. Helping to create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
Liaises with:
All Hotel Departments
Responsibilities:
* Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign their rooms, as required.
* Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.
* Inform customers regarding authorization and payment methods and verify their credit card data.
* Register guests and collect all essential contact and payment information.
* Provide information about our property, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
* Liaise with housekeeping to ensure all rooms are prepared and accommodate guests' needs.
* Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate.
* Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
* Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
* Respond to customer issues, complaints, and problems quickly and efficiently.
* Follow guest check-in and security procedures, reporting suspicious activity.
* Participate in training programs as required.
* Arrive on time, groomed, and in uniform.
* Work varying schedules, including days, evenings, or weekends, as needed.
Health & Safety:
* Fulfill obligations under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1989 and related legislation.
* Ensure health and safety of yourself, colleagues, guests, and others on premises.
* Keep work area tidy and report hazards, accidents, or damages.
* Be aware of first-aid personnel and equipment.
* Observe safety rules and procedures, including fire and accident drills.
Other Duties:

Qualifying Criteria:
* Good organizational skills.

* Knowledge of Opera or other world-class Property Management Systems.
* Additional languages are an advantage.
