Instrumentation and Calibration Leader

Job Overview:

* Manage the site's instrumentation and calibration programs to ensure optimal equipment performance, regulatory compliance, and long-term reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement a comprehensive site calibration program, ensuring readiness for regulatory inspections and audits.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts during audits, liaise with health and regulatory authorities, and provide technical guidance to the maintenance team.
* Lead reliability improvements by identifying obsolescence and implementing planned replacements, and develop and review SOPs, calibration standards, and measurement of uncertainty programs.
* Analyze predictive and condition-based monitoring data to drive continuous improvement and support equipment selection for capital and replacement projects.

Requirements:

* Degree (Level 8 or equivalent) in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.
* 5+ years' experience in a maintenance or engineering role, ideally within a regulated industry (pharma, biotech, med device, etc.).
* Strong understanding of calibration methodologies and instrumentation systems, including EU directives (e.g., ATEX) and international engineering standards (ISA, IEC, ISO).
* Proven experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and reliability engineering, with excellent communication skills to influence and lead change.
