The company offers opportunities to develop technical skills and grow within the metal fabrication industry. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pressbrake Operator role based in Ireland. The Pressbrake Operator will set up, operate, and adjust pressbrake machines to bend and form sheet metal components according to technical drawings and specifications. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting engineering drawings, selecting appropriate tooling, performing machine setups, and carrying out first-off checks and in-process inspections to ensure accuracy and quality. The role involves monitoring machine performance, troubleshooting minor issues, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and following all health and safety procedures. The Pressbrake Operator will collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines, minimize waste, and support continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. Qualifications Proven experience operating pressbrake machines in a metal fabrication environment, including setup, adjustment, and basic troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and measurement specifications accurately. Competence in using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, tape measures, protractors, gauges) to verify part dimensions and quality. Strong understanding of sheet metal characteristics, bending allowances, and basic fabrication processes. Commitment to health and safety practices, housekeeping standards, and safe use of machinery and tools. Good problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain consistent quality under time constraints. Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, engineers, and production colleagues. Flexibility to work shifts or overtime when required to meet production schedules. Relevant vocational training or certification in metal fabrication, machining, or a related trade is an advantage. Previous experience in a precision metal fabrication and/or powder coating facility is beneficial but not essential.
