Cairn has an opportunity for a detail‑focused Systems Administrator to provide system support on Cairn’s company‑wide construction document and quality management system. This role includes the set‑up and configuration of new projects, managing user access, and training and troubleshooting with system users.
Key responsibilities
* Assist with setup of new construction projects by customizing pre‑formatted template folder arrangements and uploading information to meet project‑specific requirements.
* Manage user access, including adding and removing users and configuring permissions.
* Creating and editing folders, forms, and checklists as required.
* Troubleshoot user issues and respond to helpdesk queries for Cairn staff and partners.
* Conduct new user training and provide support or refresher training as needed; monitor system uploads to identify skill gaps where additional training is required.
* Implement system changes and updates and test new features ahead of release.
* As the system evolves, liaise with end users to log change requests and propose system improvements.
* Conduct regular audits of the document management system to ensure project-specific information is uploaded in the intended format, ensuring consistency across all sites.
* Assist with compiling and checking priority site‑specific information required for transfer at completion stage.
The candidate
* Minimum 2‑3 years’ experience in an administration role.
* Experience managing high‑volume administrative requirements.
* Experience working with IT/Quality Systems is an advantage, but not mandatory.
* Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Strong ability to multi‑task in a rapid‑paced environment with high attention to detail.
* Strong ability to communicate and build relationships across diverse teams.
* Self‑motivated team player with the ability to work on one’s own initiative.
* Customer‑focused individual with a “can‑do” attitude.
