Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer – UI/UX (Mobile)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with strong experience in UI/UX automation testing across mobile platforms. This role will focus on ensuring high-quality, seamless digital experiences across customer-facing mobile applications.
You will work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to drive automation strategy, test coverage, and user experience quality across iOS and Android platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks for mobile applications (iOS & Android)
Implement automated test scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing
Validate user journeys, UI consistency, and UX behaviour across mobile applications
Collaborate with developers, UX designers, and product owners to ensure high-quality releases
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab)
Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and release readiness
Identify defects, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks early in the lifecycle
Support continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing processes
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years’ experience in test automation engineering / SDET roles
Strong experience in mobile automation testing using tools such as:
Proven experience with UI automation tools:
Selenium / Playwright (for cross-platform consistency)
Solid programming skills in one or more:
Java, Python, or TypeScript
Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum environments
Experience testing across web, mobile, and API layers
Experience with UX-focused testing, including:
Cross-device and responsive testing
Exposure to accessibility testing (WCAG standards)
Experience working in financial services or regulated environments
Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g. AWS Device Farm)
Strong attention to detail with a focus on user experience quality
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-quality delivery environments
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Proactive mindset with a focus on automation and continuous improvement
