My client, based in North Dublin, is seeking a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join their busy head office team in a job-sharing capacity. This part-time, permanent role is a great opportunity for a professional, personable individual who thrives in a structured and people-facing environment.
You’ll act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while also supporting wider administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. A full induction and training programme will be provided to help you settle in and succeed in the role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome all visitors in a warm and professional manner
* Operate the main switchboard and handle call redirection
* Manage sign-in procedures and ensure compliance with health & safety protocols
* Conduct temperature checks and maintain visitor logs
* Monitor stock and reorder office, kitchen, cleaning, and first aid supplies
* Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including franking and posting
* Coordinate meeting room bookings and maintain tidy shared spaces
* Keep fire safety documentation updated and report maintenance issues
* Assist with booking travel, accommodation, and visa applications
* Organise staff and charity events as needed
* Issue invoices and PODs to customers
* Provide general admin support to the wider office team
Skills & Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar receptionist or admin role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Confident using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Friendly, reliable, and professional in both attitude and appearance
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* Full driving licence
* Must be available to work fully on site during office hours
Role Structure & Benefits:
* Part-time job-share: 5 days across a 2-week rotating cycle
o Week 1: Wednesday–Friday
o Week 2: Monday–Tuesday
* Working hours:
o Monday–Thursday: 08:30–17:00
o Friday: 08:30–16:00
* Salary: €15,000 per annum (pro rata of €30,000 FTE)
* Hourly rate: €14.79
* Free on-site parking
* 22 days annual leave (pro rata), increasing with service
* 5% employer pension contribution
* Enhanced maternity pay: 80% of salary after 1 year’s service
