About the Role
We are seeking a Project Engineer / Project Manager to join our Engineering Project Delivery Team in Cork. This is a hands‑on role where you will take ownership of engineering projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring they are executed safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will play a key role in scoping, commissioning, qualification, validation, and start‑up activities, as well as driving continuous improvement across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver engineering projects within budget and schedule.
* Scope and develop new projects, securing capital approval.
* Manage commissioning, qualification, and validation activities.
* Coordinate cross‑functional project interfaces with stakeholders and third parties.
* Oversee project cost estimation, forecasting, scheduling, risk management, and reporting.
* Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, and site procedures across all activities.
* Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, supporting operations as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
* 5+ years’ experience in project engineering/project management within a regulated industry (pharma, biotech, medical devices or similar).
* Strong knowledge of commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV).
* Strong problem‑solving abilities with a proactive, hands‑on approach.
* Experience with change management in a regulated manufacturing environment.
