Job Overview:
The Logistics Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficient management of storage, inventory, and distribution of materials and products within our facility.
* Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and finished products.
* Maintain accurate inventory records using designated systems or software, and conduct regular inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies and ensure adequate stock levels.
* Ensure proper handling, labelling, and storage of materials and products according to safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as Production, Quality Control, and Supply Chain, to fulfill material requests and support production schedules.
* Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring accurate documentation, labelling, and compliance with shipping regulations.
* Monitor and optimize warehouse layout and organization for efficient space utilization and workflow.
* Supervise and train warehouse staff on proper procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
* Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
* Address and resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or shipping errors.
