About the Role
Our client, a leading provider of Accessories, Hosiery, Luggage, Gifts and Jewellery in Ireland and the UK, is seeking a Logistics and Purchasing Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in logistics and procurement.
Key Responsibilities
* Process Purchase Orders to match agreed product prices and discounts if any.
* Set up products including descriptions, dimensions, and weight, etc.
* Liaise with Product Coordinators/Designers to ensure smooth product flow.
* Coordinate shipping schedules and deliveries with suppliers.
* Liaise with Shipping Agents/Forwarders to ensure proper documents are provided for Customs clearance and follow-up queries.
* Update shipping intake schedules from time to time.
* Conduct cost valuation tasks.
* Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
