PRINCIPAL RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT – MIDLANDS
Cpl is expanding and seeking a talented and experienced Agency Recruiter to join our team, specifically focusing on building a perm/temp Commercial desk from the ground up in the Midlands region. This is a permanent, 360 role with a heavy focus on business development, networking, and events relating to various industries including Accountancy, Sales, Marketing, Office Support, Customer Services, HR, and more.
You will have autonomy and creative input in building out the desk's direction and strategy. A dedicated team will provide comprehensive support to ensure your success in this role. A competitive salary package, performance-based incentives, and opportunities for advancement within Cpl are offered.
About the Role:
* Build a personal book of business with clients in the Midlands, predominantly focusing on a commercial desk.
* Meet or exceed target fees & KPIs through the development of long-term client relationships.
* Source high-quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
* Develop, maintain, and manage client accounts.
* Identify new business opportunities by researching market trends and attending industry events.
* Take ownership of personal and professional development.
* Lead by example and ensure that Cpl best practices and Core Values are demonstrated.
* Develop an in-depth knowledge of industry sectors and/or functional areas.
* Contribute positively to social media platforms to drive networking, candidate identification, and client relations.
* Manage recruitment administration tasks, including contract negotiation, offer letters, and onboarding processes aligned to client requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Previous Agency Recruitment experience is essential.
* A strong track record of business development and meeting/exceeding targets is required.
* Effective communication and influencing skills, along with excellent presentation skills, are necessary.
* Good IT skills are expected.
* The ability to multitask and be delivery-focused is essential.
* Motivation, hard work, ambition, resilience, and a positive attitude are required.
* A customer-centric approach is necessary.
* The ability to work independently is expected.
* An open-minded approach to qualifications, with industry experience being more important, is desirable.
* Familiarity with recruitment software and CRM systems is beneficial.
