Demolition Specialist
This role involves operating long reach demolition excavators to dismantle buildings and structures in a safe and controlled manner.
Responsibilities
* Conduct pre-start checks on equipment
* Perform routine maintenance tasks
* Identify and report mechanical issues
* Follow established method statements and site-specific safety protocols
* Collaborate with demolition supervisors and ground crew members
* Segregate, move, and load demolition waste materials
* Maintain accurate logs of machine usage, inspections, and work completed
Requirements
* Valid operator's license or equivalent certification
* Proven experience operating long reach demolition excavators on live demolition sites
* Good knowledge of demolition techniques, material handling, and site safety procedures
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team under site supervision
* Flexibility to work across multiple projects and locations
