John Sisk & Son are seeking Site Engineers and Finishing Foremen on a temporary basis for multiple projects across Dublin.
The duration of these projects is forecasted at 12 weeks.
We are seeking experienced Foremen with finishing and refurb experience, as well as site engineers with setting out experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Set out the works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and site surveys.
2. Liaise with project planners regarding construction programmes and supplier outputs.
3. Check materials and works in progress for compliance with specified requirements, observing Sisk Q10 standards.
4. Adhere to all safety requirements as outlined in the company safety statement.
5. Contribute to Inspection and Test Plans and ensure supply chain provides necessary test data.
6. Raise RFIs and resolve technical issues with employer’s representatives, suppliers, subcontractors, and authorities.
7. Maintain quality control and record keeping per procedural and quality plans.
8. Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience or relevant project-based experience.
9. Ability to deliver reports verbally and in writing, clearly and persuasively.
10. Good interpersonal and communication skills; act professionally and influence others including senior management.
11. Working knowledge of Control of Temporary Works; TWC certification advantageous.
12. Degree/Diploma in Engineering.
13. Certifications: SMSTS/MSIC, First Aid, Lifting Supervisor, Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC).
14. Chartered or working towards professional status with Engineers Ireland or ICE.
