Opportunity to break into medical sales
The Company: With over 70 years of experience, our client is a market leader in the Irish market and abroad, offering unique solutions to the secondary care market. They provide multiple solutions found in public and private hospitals, including equipment, consumables, medical devices, and theatre products. They are consistently ranked as a top employer, offering opportunities for clinical candidates to break into medical sales. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to hire a Sales/Clinical Specialist in Munster to sell surgical products to hospitals nationwide, with a focus on the Munster region.
The Role: As the new Sales Specialist, you will sell surgical products to a variety of clinical staff in hospitals nationwide. You will liaise with department heads, nurses, consultants, surgeons, and procurement staff. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate the advantages of these devices and cross-sell to various departments within the hospitals. You will spend time in theatres and operating rooms, so you must be comfortable in that environment. The devices you will represent are groundbreaking and top of their field, with significant opportunities to grow the division and progress within the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous B2B sales experience or a nurse/clinical healthcare professional looking to break into the medical sales sector. Full product and sales training will be provided.
We are looking for clinical candidates who meet the following criteria:
1. B2B field sales experience is essential
2. Healthcare qualification is an advantage but not essential (e.g., nursing, physiotherapy, podiatry)
3. Desire to transition into a commercial sales role is essential
4. Full driving license
5. Excellent communication skills
Base Salary: €40,000 - €50,000
Bonus: 20%
