At the College Green Hotel Dublin (part of the MHL Hotel Collection), the Concierge is an expert in handling a variety of critical guest needs. Whenever possible, the Concierge is expected to strive to go the extra mile for our guests by relying on contacts with local merchants and service providers.
You must demonstrate your knowledge of the attractions, restaurants, and have a full knowledge of Dublin City to enhance the stay of our guests. In particular, you are to warmly greet and assist guests with various tasks. You will answer questions or make arrangements on items such as transportation, restaurant reservations, interesting places to visit or health and beauty services, cultural events, religious worship, childcare, shopping, florists, and any other needs.
You will also give directions to meetings and events within the hotel as well as explain hotel facilities. A flexible schedule is required. Previous experience as a Concierge in Dublin is preferred.
Preferred Candidate Requirements:
1. 2+ years relevant experience in a 5* property.
2. Very strong communication skills; fluency in English is a must.
3. Ability to work in a physically demanding job which includes regular lifting and a lot of walking.
4. Must be able to regularly lift baggage and luggage.
5. Must be 18 years of age or older to hold a full driving license.
