We are partnering with a multi-site food manufacturing business to appoint a Group Maintenance &Facilities Manager.
This senior role carries responsibility for facilities, maintenance, utilities and infrastructure across multiple production sites within a high-care, compliance-driven environment.
The successful individual will provide strong operational leadership, ensuring safe, reliable and compliant facilities while supporting capital investment, cost control and continuous improvement across the group.
Responsibilities
Lead all facilities, maintenance and utilities activities across multiple manufacturing sites
Implement and maintain group standards for facilities management, compliance and contractor control
Oversee PPM and asset reliability programmes, reducing downtime and operational risk
Manage critical utilities including refrigeration, HVAC, boilers, electrical and water systems
Ensure compliance with BRCGS, food safety, health & safety and statutory requirements
Control contractors, approvals, permits and RAMS
Lead CAPEX projects covering infrastructure upgrades, line installations and energy initiatives
Manage facilities budgets, utilities spend and performance reporting
Support audits, inspections and senior stakeholder engagement
Skills
Senior facilities, maintenance or engineering leadership experience within food manufacturing or FMCG
Multi-site responsibility experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of manufacturing utilities and infrastructure
Proven contractor, compliance and audit management capability
Commercially minded, organised and comfortable operating at senior level
