Job Description
Our client in Cork is seeking an experienced Project Lead to oversee the design and construction of a new Quality Control (QC) Laboratory. The ideal candidate has a strong background in end‑to‑end laboratory build‑outs within the pharmaceutical industry and has delivered similar projects in the past.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the complete build‑out of a QC laboratory
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout the construction process
Coordinate with stakeholders to define laboratory specifications and design requirements
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the construction process
Key Requirements
Extensive experience in building or overseeing the construction of QC laboratories within the pharmaceutical industry
Proven track record working with global pharmaceutical companies
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams
Knowledge of regulatory standards relevant to pharmaceutical laboratory construction
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
