TerraGlen is inviting applications for an Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of safe, consistent and child-centred care across our Residential Childcare Centres. This senior role ensures strong governance, coordinated service delivery and positive outcomes for young people.
Role Overview
The Operations Manager provides day-to-day oversight of all centres, supports Centre Managers, ensures compliance with National Standards, and works closely with TUSLA, inspection teams and clinical partners. You will visit each centre at least twice per month and act as Deputy for the Director of Services when required.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee operational delivery, staffing and resource allocation
Review management systems, records and compliance documentation
Provide monthly governance reports on risks and outcomes
Manage centre budgets
Ensure compliance with safeguarding legislation and internal policies
Support and guide Centre Managers and Deputies
Embed the Model of Care and quality assurance practices
Manage complaints, incidents and significant events appropriately
Lead workforce planning, recruitment, performance management and staff development
Participate in the on-call rota and represent TerraGlen at external meetings
