We are currently hiring a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie for our client in Co. Kerry. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic kitchen team in a busy hotel/restaurant environment known for delivering high-quality dishes and exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present high-quality dishes within your designated section
* Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to maintain smooth kitchen operations
* Ensure all food is prepared to company standards and in line with HACCP and food safety guidelines
* Assist in menu planning, development, and seasonal specials
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of your section at all times
* Monitor stock levels and reduce wastage wherever possible
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef ready for the next step
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* A passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail
* Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Location: Co. Kerry
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
