Assistant Restaurant Manager - The Lodge at Ashford Castle
We are currently looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our fine dining team at Wildes at The Lodge, located within The Lodge at Ashford Castle on Ashford Estate. The main focus will be to personally provide and lead the service of food and beverages to our guests, in line with company standards.
Key responsibilities:
* Support the Restaurant Manager in ensuring efficient, friendly, and professional service within the outlets, meeting Hotel/Red Carnation Hotel Service Standards.
* Monitor daily operations, liaising with the Restaurant Manager and Head Chef to organize food & beverage services effectively.
* Manage food & beverage service in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, ensuring guest satisfaction.
* Assist in training, staff rotas, cost control, and stock management.
* Participate actively in daily operations in a hands-on capacity.
Ideal candidate:
* Motivated with a passion for food & beverage, guest care, and hospitality.
* Significant experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge and passion for food & beverage.
* Experience in staff training, rotas, financial and stock control.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Organized, adaptable, and able to handle pressure.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Legally eligible to work in Ireland.
