The role will involve working with colleagues at all levels.The key focus of the role will be to significantly contribute to the rollout and implementation of IWA's new HRIS programme (Success Factors), ensuring alignment between IWA's policies and practices and their translation to the new technical environment. Additionally, it will be about creating a leading-edge suite of HR reports and insights to inform key decisions on strategic resourcing, performance enablement, staff engagement, and the effective tracking of staff contribution across many areas. In particular, the role will identify key employee trends —both opportunities and challenges —and measure and improve HR's internal customer service.It will also support the ongoing development and deployment of IWA's people strategy and its intention to be an employer of choice in its sector.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe overall aim of this role is to work at the interface between the HR department and the needs of the business, including its portfolio of policies, procedures and practices and the HRIS implementation project, ensuring congruence, alignment and effective, consistent deployment of new automated self-service, workflows and other simplifications of traditional paper-based interactions.HRIS Deployment Experience:Working with HR colleagues and wider organisation participants, act as a trusted advisor to management on the effective, practical and appropriate roll-out of HRIS within the business, aligning with existing and enhanced policies, procedures and collective agreements. Ability to understand and action a clear alignment strategy ensuring best practice, organisation needs and system capabilities in a way that is clearly seen as positive and that does not cause employee relations challenges. Ability to work with ER colleagues to update and amend policies, procedures and practices to fit with opportunities the new HRIS system may offer.HR Strategy - Insights:Lead, develop and introduce, through an appropriate sign-off process, a new and impactful suite of HR reports, metrics and insights, leading ultimately to the creation of an HR dashboard for management. Work with HR and business colleagues to understand key business opportunities and challenges, and how the IWA organisation can take appropriate actions, as well as introduce key supports and advice.HR Knowledge Building:As part of a collaborative HR effort, consider, design, and implement a proactive plan to ensure a strong local capability in onboarding, induction, probation management, performance support including goals setting and review, development of a HR skills capability (working with LD colleagues), staff retention and other areas that emerge as part of the organisation journey.Supporting the Advancement of IWA's Employee Value Proposition (EVP):By working with colleagues, both in ER and the wider HR team, advance its reputation in key areas, including dignity and respect, DEI, well-being, and internal communication, thereby strengthening these aspects.HR Responsiveness:Working with the services support team in HR, understand and plot key business requirement trends, work on the enhancement and development of the existing internal customer support desk and its use of technology.PERSON SPECIFICATION.Technical RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Insights and Reporting Role with a very strong understanding of all HR activities and the value they deliver. (Essential)QQI Level 7 qualification in HR, Business Analysis or an analogous discipline (Essential)Demonstrated experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS – SAP Success Factors) and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
