Operations Director
A fast-growing, award-winning engineering/manufacturing company in the medical device sector is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead and scale its manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead all production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
* Align manufacturing with regulatory standards (e.g. ISO 13485, FDA).
* Oversee procurement, inventory, and supply chain integration.
* Drive continuous improvement through Lean/Six Sigma principles.
* Collaborate on long-term operational strategy and investment planning.
Ideal Candidate:
* 10+ years in operations leadership within precision/high-regulation manufacturing (e.g. medtech, aerospace, automotive).
* Hands-on leadership style; background in machining/toolmaking a strong plus.
* Proven track record in process improvement and KPI delivery.
* Familiarity with ERP systems and digital manufacturing tools is advantageous.
* Down-to-earth, team-oriented, and growth-focused.
